Something that occurred to me that might be a nice-to-have during AR gameplay would be allowing the user to define the outer borders of the playing field somehow, wherein the MekaMon would be prohibited from stepping out of bounds via virtual “collision detection”. This could be useful for, say, playing on a table or a raised platform… or in my specific case, on a set of rubber mats on a wooden floor
Another good idea. We’re further streamlining the AR setup process in the Christmas release, and the Meteoroids re-release will already have a slightly different setup.
Allowing the player to set bounds is certainly possible, the biggest issue would be simplifying the UX enough. We’ll look into it!
